:Andrew is the "Short story" master

Actually, they are more like Cliff Notes if you really look at them.

One thing I noticed about Andrew's review style (and I think Nathan does the same thing) is that when the movie is good, or at least interesting , he tends to talk about the movie, but when it's really bad or just plain boring , he tends to talk more about how the movie affected him

ok, i can't resist the temptation to shamelessly plug my own site.

i mean, mine really is one of my favorites so:

"to do is to be" - Jean-Paul Sartre
"do be do be do" - Frank Sinatra

My second favourite is Jabootu's Bad Movie Dimension. OK, their reviews are very long, but if you have suffered your way through any of the films they've reviewed, it feel like group theraphy. The phorum is good as well, but it is not as crowded as this one, so I don't check it as often.

Next would be And you call yourself a scientist! or The Agony Booth, where they also like to make long reviews.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

I like the scifilm site....good for those older films.

I haven't gone to any of the others much.  I used to participate on some other message boards, but they all kinda went downhill, probably because they got too insular...not enough people, so the discussiosns fell apart quickly into more of a chat-room type message board.

I like a quite a few: SciFi Film, Dante's Inferno,Cold Fusion Reviews, Jabootu's Bad Movie Dimension, Teleport Cities, And You Call Yourself A Scientist, (was Bad Movie Report the one done by Dr Freex? I Like the one done by Freex) And my favorite is Bad Movies.org. (duh) Oh and once in a while I stop at Stomp Toko.com

I don't think there's any doubt that Andrew's site is the most influential of all the old guard ones, and for good reason.  However, the writer who most often makes me green with envy is Liz Kingsley at And You Call Yourself a Scientist.

Honorable mention to Dr. Freex, too, of course.

Shh!  Ken, they're not supposed to know we're listening!

Off topic, I know, but I'm waiting forward to read the remaining "Jaws" reviews at Jabootu. Although I may be the only one who prefers the third instalment of the series over the second one. At least it is *a bit* different from the original, whereas the second one is the first chapter cloned.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Shh! Ken, they're not supposed to know we're listening!

I assumed you were and was sorta suprised not to have heard from you already
