Associated Press is reporting that  John Ritter of 3's Company & 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter fame and country legend Johnny Cash both passed away today.  Although I wasn't a huge fan of either, I had a great respect for both.  RIP, guys!

Yeah, Warren and Johnny.  Not a good week for musicians.

And it's shocking when the stars of shows you watched as a kid start dying, even though it is too early.

ABC news.com has already named today (9-12-03) "Black Friday".

I wonder if they're havin' a drink together up in Heaven?

raj

Interesting question.  I wonder if alcoholics can drink in Heaven?

Yes a very sad day but it does have a bright side.
Callysto (my wife) delivered a beautiful 7lbs 4oz girl today

My hope is a little of the talent of both of this entertainment giants trickels down from heaven to her

If God is watching us, the least we can do is be
entertaining.

Nice to hear some good news.
Hope Mom & daughter (name?) are doing well.

Also, fans of more offbeat music will be saddened to know that it was just announced that Shooby Taylor, the Human Horn, died in June. If you haven't heard any of his stuff, check out http://www.shooby.com-- it's indescribably weird and hilarious.

RIP John, Johnny, and Shooby, and congrats to Erik and Cally!

Johhny Cash isn't a surprise, but John Ritter wasn't that old...

John was 54 the radio said, some freakundiagnosed heart problem. Johnny Cash was 71, but he looked much more worn than that. It doesn't seem to be a good year for entertainers does it?

RIP, Clifford The Big Red Dog!

Seven years on MacGyver and you cannot figure this out? We got belt buckles, shoe laces, and a piece of gum. Build a nuclear reactor for crying out loud.  You used to be MacGyver, MacGadget, MacGimmick, and now you are now 'Mr. MacUseless'.

Both Callysto and Ayngela are doing great
