The Vampire Lovers from Hammer is one of the more erotic non XXX movies I have seen (or course XXX is oft times as about as erotic as watching engine pistons pumping).  And there was that bit in The Hunger (only good part of the movie really).

My favorite sex scene? Right here at this site. Just go to "Lair of the White Worm?" and view one of the video clips. You know which one. Of course, watching the clip before seeing the complete scene is like hearing the punchline of a joke before hearing the rest of the joke, but . . . ?!

Hands down, my favorite:
Dona Flor reminices about when her ghost-hubby was alive in "Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands".  All the sex is in lingering flashback style, but this is one of the only films I've ever seen where you were convinced it was really happening/genuinely erotic, and yes, this would include the real-porn stuff.
