About 10-12 years ago, when they made  it legal, I had a happy evening at a bar in Portland sampling the stuff.  A ood time was had by all.

Marilyn Manson sells an absinthe, called Mansinthe. Haven't had it yet but it's supposedly one of the strongest ones out there.

tried some about 15 years ago when a friend brought some back from Ibiza. we had a few weekend sessions on that one bottle, between 4 of us. made me go silly in da head. pretty sure the bottle we had was 55% also. a kid in our town died after drinking a whole bottle in one go

Even though I KNOW the Man is from MANson... I can't bring myself to drink anything called Mansinthe.
