Maybe u should clarify what you mean by unresolved plot characters

"Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink."

--Lady Astor to Winston Churchill

"Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it."

--His reply

Crap, I totally know that I saw one once where they totally just had thit throwaway subplot with no resolution at the end, but I can't remember what it was.  I totally know what you're talking about, though.

Well, there was this one character in a Bugs Bunny cartoon who was supposed to show up and do a high dive act but he couldn't make it because of weather...

...his name escapes me, though

By "unresolved plot characters" I mean characters that are introduced into the movie , whether good or bad and then are later left out of the movie without resolution.
Better yet , if there are any movies with unresolved sub-plots that would even be better.

Fearless Freep

Most of the little mini-synopsis of movies have a lot of unresolved sub-plot (the movies, not the reviews)

That's just too broad a category

GINGER SNAPS has the mother just disappear about 10-15 minutes before the end of the movie. Same for the father.

Number one on this list for me is not a movie but a TV show.

Off the top of my head, there's the sub-character in Tombstone who idolizes Billy Zane's character, he was played by Jason Priestly.  He sees Billy Zane shot later in the movie, refuses to go along with "Sherrif" Behan and Curly Bill Brosus, gallops off into the distance and we never see him again.

on a lower level, there's the boyfriend in the movie "Hackers". When they were all admiring Angelina Jolie's laptop, he leaves the room and never appears in the movie again.

Can't recall more than these, but there's definitely more.

Similarly, in the first episode of Twin Peaks they introduce a sister of Donna's who was never seen again.

Track of the Moon Beast - Professor Johnny Longbow is working with two students out in the desert. We're introduced to them, Johnny gives them his stew recipe and tells them a story, and then they pretty much disappear.

I remeber in the first episode of the Brady Bunch the girls had a kitty but in the next episode it was gone. I guess the dog ate it.

No, the kitty's agent demanded too much money and fresh catnip daily in it's dressing room so the producers had the writers write it out of the storyline.

I think E! had a special on it, it was pretty nasty all around

Watching Tomestone now.  Great suggestion, that movie has soo many holes in it I can't even begin to count.
