I know a lot of you are not big Rob Zombie movie fans, but personally I loved House of a 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects, but this one was a bit of a let down. Some bits were good and visually was great. On a whole though, it was a little disappointing.

Rev. Powell

Yeah, I gave it 2.5 stars (out of 5). The middle is a mess of false-alarm dream sequences that don't advance the plot. I thought it improved by the end, though.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Yeah, I cant disagree with that, but it did at point seem like he had just thrown The Ring, Rosemary's Baby and Hocus Pocus together. Is that too harsh?

HappyGilmore

I like Zombie's films, but this is one I'm waiting til it's on dvd. I'm curious as to his next film, a hockey movie about The Broad Street Bullies.

I didn't see it, but isn't that pretty much what happens in Halloween 2?

No idea, I didn't see Zombie's H2.

Me neither.

Yes. A few dream sequences in H2.

That's what I thought just from what I heard about it when it came out.

I know Rob Zombie isn't a great director, but I get the feeling he could be pretty good. I don't know how though. He's getting inspiration from the right places though.

HappyGilmore

I felt his first three films were great, improving on each outing. It seemed he regressed a bit on Halloween 2. Definitely not great, but has improved and could be quite good if he possibly made it his main career instead of a side job.

I'll see it-when it comes on cable tv. I like Zombie-loved the DEVILS REJECTS. Did it at least have good music?

Okay let me put it this way.

If Rob Zombie made "Werewolf Women of the S.S." into a feature length film it might be the best thing he's done. That's what I mean when I say he has potential.

I really want this to happen. I think it would be brilliant.

The music in Lords is ok. I like the tune that plays from the record. John 5 did the score.

Yeah-he'll never be a Kubrick-or even a Tarintino-but he could make some great B-movies,I'll reckon!
