I saw Trilogy of Terror and Burnt Offerings decades ago and they've stayed with me. Not to mention she was in Easy Rider, Capricorn One and many others. A great loss of a distinctive actress

Yeah, she was in a LOT of b-movies and had a very distinctive look to her.  Unfortunately one movie I instantly think of with her in it was AIRPORT '75, and it was awful.  Trilogy Of Terror was quite good, however.  Rest in peace, Mrs. Black.

My god, I didn't know she passed. I always liked her in everything I saw her in, even the crappy stuff.

One of her most underrated performances was in a wonderfully strange little movie called THE PYX. A lot of people dislike that movie, but the twists at the end are shocking and brutal. And Ms. Black played a whore with a true heart of gold.

Sleep well.

I saw Ms. Black in loads of movies and she always seemed to be having tons of fun no matter what.  RIP, indeed.

That's a bummer. I just saw her in "Capricorn One" a couple of weeks ago and "Burnt Offerings" fairly recently as well. R.I.P.

Ending of Burnt Offerings was so crazy. Maybe viewers can see it coming now but when I was a kid I didn't.

Hated to hear about this, especially because it was due to cancer.  Farewell, Ms. Black, you left an immortal mark in the film world!
