What is the name of that movie with the tree monsters from the 50's or 60's? Trees that attack.

I think I've found the name of an old film I couldn't identify for years that had fragile human looking robots that fight against humans at the end. I think the name was CREATION OF THE HUMANOIDS. I'd love to see this film again one day. Seen it in the 70's.

Is it FROM HELL IT CAME?   That had at least one tree monster.

I think the aliens in I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE also looked treelike.

Did it have a walking tree with a face and they finally killed it by shooting a knife that was stuck in the tree, thereby driving it deeper?

Yes, I should have mentioned that. I was thinking that maybe a short description of the movie might jog his memory.

Thanks jmc, I think it was FROM HELL IT CAME. I remember it vaguely from my youth and perhaps it was only one tree.
