Yeah, Ross was such a terrible character.  It was kind of brilliant when they cast Schwimmer in BAND OF BROTHERS because 1) a good percentage of the audience would automatically dislike him, 2) if you took Ross and put him in a position of power over other men, Sobel is exactly what he'd turn into.

The scene where he was "ordered" to cut the fence by one of his own men impersonating his commanding officer was priceless!  :bouncegiggle:

It's kind of neat the way his men felt the same way about him as most people who watched Friends felt about his character there  :smile:
