Turns out the ghosts just want Sophie and Nathan to get the hell out of their house, to which end they hire a "bio-exorcist".  Unfortunately, the "exorcist" is just a shyster who takes the ghosts' money and runs to Mexico with his jailbait goth girlfriend.  The film ends with the ghosts deciding to move to a new house while Sophie leaves Nathan alone to indulge his My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic obsession.

he tries to liven the place up a bit by playing card games and basketball with his fellow inmates, but the head nurse Ratched is after him at every turn.

Rip is the World Wrestling Federation champion who is faithful to his fans and the network he wrestles for. Brell, the new head of the World Television Network, wants Rip to wrestle for his network. Rip refuses and goes back to his normal life.

... but is suddenly attacked by space aliens who claim they are the last of a dead race - and so is he!  Rip embarks on an adventure which ends up with him becoming the legendary Super Wrestler and taking on space tyrant Freezer (played by Randy Savage).
