I love Mario Kart. I bought a 3DS just so I could play MK7. I drew the line at buying a Wii-U just for MK. a few months ago I heard about Angry Birds Go, and I must say it is kinda fun. It's no Mario Kart, there's no multiplayer yet, and the constant spend money for upgrades is annoying. I went put and bought some telepods (my first experience with them) hoping for some karts only to discover they are one time use. I wish they would have released  $30 version where you can just unlock stuff in game by playing rather then trying to nickle and dime me.

On that same note, I was a bit disappointed in the 3DS version of Angry Birds Trilogy. While I appreciate the developers wanting to try something new and to take advantage of the 3D aspect of the console, it didn't fit in well with the traditional aspects of the game. Though it played rather well with the touchpen, launching your birds from a first-person perspective in the level select menu and bonus rounds just felt too weird for me.

But yes, Mario Kart on the 3DS is awesome! The most fun that I ever had playing Mario Kart is on that system.

Umaril Has Returned

Path Of Exile on Steam.  Great Free To Play game. It's a modern-day Diablo with about 10 times the arsenal and a very wide variety of monsters. And unlike most FTP games, you are not, I repeat, not bound to credit card purchases for better equipment, as there's a barter system that works very well.  Very nice game! Also playing Neverwinter from time to time, also Free To Play.

Does it have as many variables on items as D2 had? That's my main beef with a lot of RPGs these day. Item variation is too simple.

Actually, as I can see, the answer is definitely yes. There's about 10 or 12 varuations of each item, and you can also upgrade them to magic weapons by inserting gems into the weapon\item slots, and the gems can actually go up in level and become stronger as well.  There's a huge skill tree too.

Well that bites! I paid real money, like $20 bucks for Neverwinter Nights back in 2006.

If you are into mods, look up one called WYRMSTOOTH.  It was pretty doggone amazing, and comes with 15 different sidequests.  It's as big as many of the DLC's!

Thanks Indy I'll definitely have to download that one.  This is my fourth playthrough so I'm kind of dying for some new content

No dude, this is a HUGE never-ending game, not the Neverwinter Nights of old. Neverwinter is the title of the game, not Neverwinter Nights, and it's a totally different game. You CAN pay for stuff, but you can also earn it too and make yourself damn-near invincible in the process.

Not to pour beer on anybody's french fries but a friend of mine got to test-play the beta for Dark Souls 2 and came away disappointed and saying the game felt nothing like Demon's Souls or Dark Souls at all. He mentioned it being as hard as the first two in the series but no fun at all and it felt like a generic fantasy game set on max and not like Dark Souls.

Maybe FROM went to the well once too often, huh?
