Don't know if she's "Tony Soprano"-like, but when I think of female anti-heroes I think of Linda Fiorentino in THE LAST SEDUCTION.

Wouldn't say she's like Tony Soprano, but couldn't Jackie Brown be considered a Anti-Hero?

Don't know if she's anything like Tony Soprano, but the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy has a pretty good female anti-hero.

I suppose American Mary might qualify as well.

First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'

Rebecca De Mornay in Mothers Day (2010) and in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992). Even though she could probably be described as the villain in both of these films I think plenty of viewers saw her as a hero of sorts and wanted her to last till the end.

I think Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon definitely count in their plot to set up Gershon's boyfriend in 1996's Bound.

Maybe Linda Blair in Savage Streets.  She's a "delinquent bad girl" (though she's around 25 when this film was made) who resorts to outright murder to avenge her sister's rape.

Chloe Grace-Moretz as Hit Girl in Kick-Ass (2010)! I have watched this movie countless times just for her battle scenes alone. Hit Girl kills thugs real good!

ANY thing from the 70' with Pam Grier! I recommend COFFY-

Coffy (trailer)
OH! It's got Sid Haig too! Who appeared in most of Pam's early films-in fact-he was in JACKIE BROWN-he played the judge! And his name is on the elavator button in one scene! Gotta love Tarintino for giving my favorite actress her own film after so many years.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Coffy is fantastic. Probably the best of Jack Hill's sleazy exploitation films, and I mean that in the best possible sense.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.
