I was in the convenience store the other day and the place reeked of garlic.

I saw something impressive this morning. It was like minus ten when I got up and let my dogs out, and one of them trotted over and whizzed against the yew shrubs....and his pee froze solid across the branches into little golden snowcicles.

I love uploading random pics I took and post them at the imgur gallery and read comments and see how many votes they got. Imgur is kind of like youtube, but with pictures.

There were pacifists in WWII. Not just the pre-war NAZI sympathizers, but people who believed we should've just let Japan have Hawaii.

I'd like to see a documentary about these types.

In his oral history of WWII, The Good War, Studs Terkel devotes a large section of one of the later chapters to interviewing conscientious objectors and other pacifists.  Might interest you.

I didn't realize there were people who were THAT pacifist. I know a bit about the isolationists. Many of them maintain FDR manuvered Japan into attacking which is not impossible to fathom given his stated policies. Never heard any of them express the thing about giving Hawaii to Japanese though.

I'd like to see the Fox Sunday night cartoon line up take on Jodorowski's El Topo.

I'd hate to imagine what it's like to have an allergic reaction to Preparation H.
