44, for the "Best Pictures." Or 51%.

51, for the "Bad Movies." Or, 30%. Most of those were not my type of bad movies.

Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

I think we all agree on that score: most of the bad movies listed there were very entertaining IMHO.

39 of the bad movies and the description is pretty much accurate:
You dig bad movies, as long as they're so bad they're good — and not just unbearable. You haven't seen as many of the movies on this list as you'd like, but you're pretty passionate about at least a few. After all, a good bad movie is just more fun to watch than a good good movie.

44 Best Pictures which really surprised me.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

19.  Not many but many don't capture my attention.

72.  On the bad movies one, I kind of question some of their inclusions.  Not that they were terrific but there are some there that are much better then quite a few that could have been listed.

Im with Couch-I seen 19.

38 % of the Oscar movies (33) and 25 % of the bad movies (43).

I know "bad" is hard to define properly for movies, but there are some in the bad list with potential for discussion. Most arguable for me: Planet of the Apes.

Wheres the "Bad" movis list?

13.

But on the upside, I own Redneck Zombies and Hard Rock Zombies on dvd, so I think my taste in film is rather good.

On the 'list of bad movies'...I've seen 88.

In fact, I own a few on dvd.

Of the Oscar winners, 35 or 41%.

Now ask me why I'll probably never see the 36th, but 1st ask me how many of the Oscar winners I enjoyed.

18 or 51%. With those odds I'd do better flipping a coin to decide what film to see, then seeing a film that won the Oscar.

I'll add that there is nothing wrong with most of the Oscar winners. It is just that the Academy and I have different tastes in films.

One final comment. It has been mentioned at the website, but not here I believe, but the movie poster for "All Quiet on the Western Front" is not for the 1930 Oscar winner, but the 1979 TV version. Having seen both, (IMHO) good, but not as good as the film version. And the movie poster for "Ben Hur" is not for the 1959 Oscar winner, but for the silent version of 1925. Again, having seen both, except for the naval battle and the chariot race, I prefer the 1925 version. And some hold that the silent film version is superior to the version that came along 34 years later.
