Agreed---although I kind of like NIGHT OF THE HUNTED too, for very different reasons.

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Talk about thread necromancy!  This one dates back more than 5 years.   :teddyr:  

A truly unique film, damned scary too, there's nothing quite like it and it just gets better and better.  
I think years ago our own beloved REV may have misunderstood me a bit, and it's my own couching if so.  I picked at what he wrote but pretty much agreed with it.  Beautifully composed, NIGHT OF THE HUNTER is a masterpiece.
