i agree with tenebrae, revolutions did kind of smack of 'wachowski sell-out', just no real development of plot enough.

and i totally agree with freep, not enough time spent in the actual matrix, looking cool in leather ;-) and too much action at the too great a sacrifice of plot development.  

Personally i think that the 'second renaissance' two parter of the animatrix is the best out of this entire series, it outlines how the machines came to power and the original war etc.  the people who directed and made them are amazing.
