I pre-ordered 100 copies of my novel, THE TESTIMONIUM.
So far, I have given away 3 (one to my mom, one to my best friend, and one to a local book critic who's going to review it in the paper).
I've sold 17 at work and church, and have six more spoken for, I'll ship as soon as I get the payment from those who asked for them.
And I sold 48 copies at my book signing!
After leaving a few copies at Hasting's for them to sell, I'm down to a dozen or so books left out of 100!

I had this poster done at my local Staple's.  It's the book cover with a picture of me photoshopped onto it.

My table was front and center, so I could waylay everyone as they came in the door!

Some of this year's graduates from my school stopped by to get copies . . . the girl with the long hair and
pretty smile published her own book and is having her signing next week!  At 18 no less! I'm  proud for her
and hate her a little bit at the same time!

Happy author, happy reader!

And a happy daughter too!

Great pics, Indy: I really hope your book will be available via either www.kalahari.com or www.takelot.com as I would love to purchase a copy.

Hey you got any of those chocolates left over?   :teddyr:

Right now it's on Amazon.com, Barne&Nobles.com, and you can order it directly from my publisher at electiopublishing.com.
All of them should ship to S. Africa.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

I've now sold out of my 100 copy pre-order entirely!
Ordered more books this afternoon.  I'm pretty happy with that, LOL!

Ordered the Kindle version so I can read it between calls at work.

I hope there's a scene with goats in it.

Thanks, Java!  Shall I sent you a virtual autograph? :teddyr:

Sure. There is a service called Authorgraphs. Don't know if you are aware of it. But it allows a digital "signature" from an author.

So, when are you gonna write your variation on the Elder Scrolls? Kinda like a badmovies.org fantasy novel? Heck, I'd travel to Texas to get you to sign a physical copy of that in person.

Also, who was the rabid cheerleader who wrote the hyper-glowing review on Amazon?

indianasmith

I'll give you a hint . . . that person is a member of this forum!!!

I checked the numbers tonight - I am in 458,578th place at Amazon.com!
