What does not kill me makes me stranger.

The Burgomaster

Never read the books.  Never saw any of the movies.  I'll probably watch the movies some day, but I'll probably never read the books.

I got 9 out of 25, all guesses lol.  I even guessed a couple of the multiple choice ones right, kind of proud of myself actually.

A more realistic test for me would have questions like "What's Harry's last name?" and that sort of thing.

Not well. I'm sure. I've never seen them. I have no interest in seeing any of them. I have no interest in reading any of the books neither. I say give me Artemis Fowl any day.
Both the book series and a film based upon the first two books, if it ever gets made.

I will say one thing about the Harry Potter films. Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since he first appeared in the first film in the series. What little I saw of his performance, I thought he was terrible. The only good thing about it was that he looked like what you thought Harry Potter should look like. Though, I must admit, he has developed into a fine little actor.

I would actually be really happy if a big budget fantasy film(s) were made of this

Guessed eight right. Not read the books, never seen the movies.

Never read the books and I only ever saw one film.

And I'll only watch the films if Mike, Kevan and Bill are talking along.

Mike: "Oh dear."
Crow: "What's up?"
Tom: "And what the heck is that smell?"
Mike: "Sorry, guys: I just went quidditch in my jumpsuit."  :tongueout:

Only seen bits and pieces of some of the films. Some of it plot wise seemed kinda cool although I'm not a huge fan of its CGI FX and cinematographic look of what I've seen.

What we have.
a development process. It's only been in development since 2001.
a director. At least director Jim Sheridan has expressed an interest in directing the film.
a producer. Both Robert DeNiro and Harvey Weinstein have been announced as being producers on the film.
a script. Finished.
a studio. The Walt Disney Studio.

What we do not have.
casting. Though, it is rumored that DeNiro will not only produce but also appear as Commander Root, and it has been suggested that the nephew of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, would make a good Artemis. Though, he is getting up there in age, so if he is to be in it, the film better start shooting soon, or he'll be too old for the role.

More as it becomes available.
