We'll see if I keep this up. Anyone can join in with similar movies.

Every week I look at all the new release movies listed on Rotten Tomatoes. The idea here is for me to post some "under the radar" new movies that aren't getting a wide release or a lot of buzz, but that look like they could be good, or bad-good. In fact, these movies will probably be awful, but there's always that outside chance... they're a gamble.

Interstellar (2014) - I find these sci-fi films are often amazing or terrible, do really want to see this when it comes out though

Wetlands is fun and much more heartfelt than the trailer seems.  Lots of 'gross' stuff happens but I have to admit I didn't think it was actually that 'gross'.  The lead actress is fantastic and the soundtrack is pretty rad.

Wetlands looks great.  I guess I know at least one movie I'm getting my mom for Christmas.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

So bad it's good? Nic Cage improves the chances, but I'm skeptical.

Wetlands looks like a solid indie flick

German movie based on controversial best selling book "Feuchtgebiete" (Wetlands) written by German/British former music video VJ Charlotte Roche

The movie was produced by 20th Century Fox Germany, released last year, and had a solid theatrical run. Critics weren't exactly wowed by the movie, however.

It looks better made than the original films, but the Left Behind books irritate me so much I can't imagine enjoying one.

Saw this a bit ago.  It's not widely available though, but well worth a watch.
