Ad hominem is the only one I recognize. But that's because ad hominem kept it's Latin name, even in English use.

Edit: After Google searching these terms I found "Post hoc ergo propter hoc" is essentially the Latin name for the Correlation Vs. Causation fallacy. (Which I'm already familiar with)

As horrible as the deaths from those A-bombs were (and honestly I hope no other atomic bombs - certainly none worse- ever need to be dropped anywhere), it probably did shorten the war by quite a bit and probably lessened the number of deaths that may have resulted on both sides.

Probably?-it did-do you know how hard it was to take a tiny island like Iwo Jima?
Taking Japan by man power would have killed more people-on both sides-than the atom bombs ever did.It would have been a bloodbath.

I just watched Ken Burns doc called the WAR-the survivors talk about the EVIlL they saw in everyday life-my god...I think all war is horrendous.but sometimes-morons with ideoligies-think they are right and every body else is stupid-close minded f**kheads-yeah-Ill drop an atom bomb. But that makes me as bad as them. What the hell? Where does it end?
