SOUND OF HORROR (1964) - This is an effective little horror made in Spain. I just bought the DVD today. This b/w film will send a couple shivers up your spine and keep your interest throughout the film. You should be able to find it for under $10. Good atmosphere, shriek, music, and acting. Good job with a low budget. The shrieking creature is invisible. You won't be dissapointed. Check it out. Alpha Video at oldies.com is the distributor.

what might be more effective is a synopsies of the film ;)

save the world, kill a politician or two.

Tresure hunters uncover a mummy and what look like large eggs in a cave. A horrible scream from an invisible creature chases these people back to the house they are working from. Again quite effective. Ingrid Pitt has an early role in this shocker. They get locked up in the house defending themselves from a shrieking invisible creature. Also quite gory for a b/w 1964 film. Well done all the way till the end. Some poor and interesting special effects that both add to the film some how. It's a good purchase.

oh? what type of gore are we getting from this era? lots of blood or dismeberments? hey, I likes my gore :P

save the world, kill a politician or two.

Scott

No dismemberment, but bodies and faces ripped up quite bad for 1964. No exageration. Then again it's "not" anything like COLOR ME BLOOD RED or BLOODFEAST of the same time period.

SOUND OF HORROR reminded me of 13 GHOST with b/w gore.

Id have to say that the worst SOUND OF HORROR would be  wedding bells. (laughs)
