Ever since I started here, I was told that the 1973 South African feature Boesman And Lena was not here in our holdings.

Imagine my surprise a few hours ago when I found a 35mm print of this film tucked away in a corner of one of our vaults.  :teddyr: :teddyr:



Not a nice picture but a very good film and I'm glad we have it.  :smile:

Thanks Sister N: this version is wayy better then the excruciating 1999 version in which all Angela Bassett seems to say to Danny Glover is "Owww mai gahhhd, Booosemen!" Terrible.  :buggedout:

Anyone know if archive.org accepts historical photographs, there are a few I have digitized that aren't on the web
