Got our cat, Scooter, back from the vet.  Everything went great    They removed the cyst from his leg and I had them clean his teeth as long as he was there.  Now we've got to watch him like a hawk to make sure he doesn't lick/bite at his sutures, and when we can't watch him we've got to put one of those cone things around his neck.  Poor little guy    Oh well not much we can do - better to be uncomfortable for a couple weeks than to have the thing get infected again.

My students took home five First Place, three Second Place, and three Third Place awards at the Texas History Day event yesterday.  This is the 19th year in a row we have gone to State Competition!

Second snow day in row, and they're calling for 2 - 4 inches of heavy, wet snow tomorrow morning.

So I finally decided to watch American Horror Story and bought the first season on Blu-ray last week. Today IMDb tells me that Lady Gaga will be in season 5 
Because of her I refuse to watch Machete Kills (loved the first one) and Sin City 2. Can't Gaga just go away and stop ruining stuff I want to watch?
