Got our cat, Scooter, back from the vet.  Everything went great   They removed the cyst from his leg and I had them clean his teeth as long as he was there.  Now we've got to watch him like a hawk to make sure he doesn't lick/bite at his sutures, and when we can't watch him we've got to put one of those cone things around his neck.  Poor little guy  :bluesad:  Oh well not much we can do - better to be uncomfortable for a couple weeks than to have the thing get infected again.

Thanks so much Newt, and thanks Trevor!  Really appreciate it

He's got his cone thing on him right now, I feel so bad  :bluesad:  sometimes you've just gotta do the whole "tough love" thing though

I haven't worn my black baseball hat in over a year now.  And I use to where that thing all the time.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

My students took home five First Place, three Second Place, and three Third Place awards at the Texas History Day event yesterday.  This is the 19th year in a row we have gone to State Competition!

Oh man I wish we had Texas rules for winter here, but then I guess everyone would go out of business.

I hate when people reduce movies i like to their "infamous" scene like Fatal Attraction "the bunny!" yeah it's also an awesome movie that you've probably never actually seen

Second snow day in row, and they're calling for 2 - 4 inches of heavy, wet snow tomorrow morning.
It's like spring break came 2 weeks early - except for the nice weather part!!!

So I finally decided to watch American Horror Story and bought the first season on Blu-ray last week. Today IMDb tells me that Lady Gaga will be in season 5
Because of her I refuse to watch Machete Kills (loved the first one) and Sin City 2. Can't Gaga just go away and stop ruining stuff I want to watch?

Both my Pop Tarts are broke in half.  Wonder if that's some kind of omen of the day ahead?  Maybe I should go back to bed...

Flash Gordon (1980) was on this afternoon, & it got me wondering what it would look like if somebody started making sequels to sci-fi from the 50s & 60s, with the vacuum tubes, the theremin, & the pastel sets & costumes...
