ABC7 in New York messed up BIG time when breaking the news that Leonard Nimoy passed.  



An episode of the Simpsons comes to mind here.  Do these people even know who he was?

I posted a video clip from that episode on my Facebook the day Nimoy passed.

Nimoy: "I'd say this vessel can do at least Warp Five."

Mayor Quimby: "And I'd, ahhh, just like to add: May the Force be with you!"

Nimoy: (annoyed) "Do you even know who I am?"

Mayor Quimby: "Uhh, I think so. Weren't you one of the Little Rascals?"
