Yep, Florida.

QuoteThe Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that Michael and James Remelius were arguing in the front yard of a home last week when Michael first threatened to throw a brick at his brother.

According to a police report, Michael Remelius followed through, striking his brother in the leg and causing a small cut. James Remelius retaliated with a brick that bloodied and bruised his brother's eye.

All in all, both were arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Both remained jailed Tuesday. James' bail is $25,000 while Michael's is $20,000. Court records show they do not yet have attorneys.

I like my Florida story of the day better . . . but this one is still pretty funny!

I remember a Darwin award winner a few years ago - he died and his brother nearly died after suffering nearly 20 snakebites between them.  They were playing catch . . . with a LIVE RATTLESNAKE!!!!!!!

I am not accustomed with American stereotypes (a part of the "deep south*"), what is "known" about Florida?

* where EVERYONE is ignorant, trigger happy, and speak with a weird accent.

Florida consistently displays a level of weirdness beyond the rest of the South (I'm a native Texan).
Read some of Dave Barry's essays on Florida.  He has it pretty well pegged.
