Have you changed your user name?

When I first started posting messages here, I just used my real name as my user name.  After awhile, I switched to The Burgomaster.

Have any of you changed your user names?  How many times?  What were the old names that you used?

Whenever I've used my real name (Jamey) people immediately think I'm a girl....which I'm definitely not!

Nope, I've been using this one since 1997 or so.  I use it everywhere on the internet.

I've changed my name several times but I've been on bulletin board systems before the internet was really popular, plus I was co-sysop of one back in 95 (I think that's when it was started. ) That one was The Infinity Project but it wasn't so Infinity.  It pretty much died about in 98.  There was this bulletin board name Playpen BBS that I had logged onto as Charmed, got into the teleconference, the text games, I especially love the games Legend of the Red Dragon and Trade Wars. The BBs was a local one like so many other ones I remember but they all died out little by little.   There's only one that I know of that still exsist and it's never went internet so I never dial it up anymore. I used a different gaming name, usually it was Pickles or Total Chaos.  I used the name Sartara for my Instant messenger.  Cricket21A is my email name.  Guess I got bored with my original name and kept changing it from there.

I'm bad at user names so I just use my name or Bringler (which if you can't tell is my first initial and last name

The weird thing is finding someone else using your user name.  I know when and where I came up with it, all by my lonesome.  I know there's a guy out there who makes remix type music with the same name.  More power to him.  But every once in a while I see somebody else using it.

I don't know if anybody else has this problem, but I see Mofo Rising as a second name of mine.  It's definitely not a common name, so it always throws me for a loop to see it used by someone else.  Like George and Seven.
