As a teenager, I saw Can't Buy Me Love on what was one of my earliest dates.  Amanda Peterson was prettier than my date, hahaha.  The story was hilarious and because of its timing in my life, gives me a lot of fun memories.

It's very sad that she succumbed to the ravages of drugs, alcohol, and bipolar mental disorder, as documented by mugshots here.

The ordeal is over.  RIP, Amanda Peterson.

That's sad.  Can't say I remember seeing her in anything, but still sad.  That bipolar disorder can really ruin people's lives.  One of the best bass players ever to live, Jaco Pastorius, had that too.  Exacerbated by drugs, it led to the end of his life at age 35.
