Some guy with an Indian accent called up and told me he'd been monitoring my computer and I'd downloaded a virus, and if I'd just give him all my personal information he'd help me sort it out.  Then he asked if I was using a Windows operating system.  I told him no, I built my own operating system out of guitar strings and lasagna noodles.

Well, I don't know much more about Raspberry Pi, but I now know an eency weency bit more than I did before, and all it cost me was ten bucks & two chances to be in the Richmond 48hr Film Project...

Last night's gig went pretty well. I made one or two little errors, but otherwise there were no real issues (save for a bit of mic trouble before we started playing). I got a lot of compliments on both my playing and bass tone. And I even made a bit of money.

We went to Buffalo Wild Wings a week ago.  Place was packed even at 10pm when we left.  Reason: UFC Fight Night was being played there.   Nice thing was we ate out on their patio and it was fairly pleasant out.

Bought early lunch inside a mall at a restaurant chain specialized in fish on Saturday. They have like this hot food counter where employees put together your order. Anyway, I got fish & chips to go and I assume due to momentary lack of employees the store manager himself was filling in at the walk up / food to go section of the counter. He looked like he just stepped out of a business meeting - black tie, white shirt. I guess his Louis Vuitton briefcase was stashed under the counter. Now, I've been served food by managers before (McDs, BK) but I was never served an order (and in this case, a small one to boot) that classy and professionally before. I really felt like leaving a tip

Getting into work and finding the really complicated job you had to do first thing on a Monday morning was done by someone else on Friday should feel awesome. Unfortunately the person who though he would help me out by doing this didn't know the system fully and has ballsed it up so I now have twice the work to do fixing his mess. Since he outranks me and none of my minions are in this week I can't even pass the job on to someone else.

Oh well, its better than sitting about bored doing nothing. :)
