So let the light guide your way....
Hold every memory as you go
And every road you take will always lead you home.....

RIP, the 9/11 victims.  :bluesad:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Sixteen years on, my heart still hurts for the innocents lost on that day and my birthday will never be the same.

RIP: every road you take will always lead you home.  :bluesad:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Hard to believe it has been sixteen years.
Seems like yesterday . . .
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

Words fail me, even today, more than a decade later.  :bluesad:

God Bless America.

Sometimes......sometimes.....I think we should forget September 11, 2001. Just a theory, mind you, not advocating it, but....might some not say every time we recall the events we give publicity to the mass murderers who perpetrated those horrors?

How about we just set aside a random day every year to collectively scream: f**k YOU YOU RATBEARD MOTHERf**kING MURDERING f**kING f**kS!

Personally I would feel a lot better about it all than holding hands and singing Kumbaya to images of eagles and burning towers while slow country songs play. Either way our emotion is not helping the dead and it might be a way of spitting on the memories of those who carried out the atrocities.

Or better yet, bomb our enemies every day on the anniversary. Let their cries of happiness sixteen years ago turn to screams of agony as they quake in dread of September 11th's annual return.

You cry over earthquakes, but you destroy those who attack you. You kill until your foes lie rotting, then you sow their fields with salt Roman style. That's how you change a day of mourning into one of gloating at your nation's awesome might, telling the world, "We planted a probe on Pluto, we walked on the moon, we bailed out the world with the Marshall Plan, and we made those who assailed our cities bleed to the last. We are the greatest people ever to draw breath, overshadowing all others. Americans kill 50,000 of each other for no good reason each year with gun violence, so just think what we could do to you if we ever got a hankering to come your way. From Canada to Argentina, Manila to Liberia, be afraid, be very afraid."

Or, you know, we could just, like, watch a movie or something.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.
