The other day when I was walking to the bus stop, I saw an albino squirrel. I thought: "Wow! An albino! Wonder if it's good luck to see one." One minute later some a***ole in a landscaping truck threw two crab apples at me.

Especially for the albino squirrel. Where I went to school to earn my Master's, a number of years ago, had not one, but two albino squirrels on campus, which became a favorite of the students on campus. That is, till they were both picked off by hawks.

Anybody her mess with IR filters or Night vision cameras? I ask, because somebody gave me an old Olympus SP310. I found out I could use it with 37mm filters, but when I tried it with a 950nm IR filter I got for a penny on ebay, it didn't work. However, the other day, I got a cheap $40 dashcam with those night vision LEDs. Just for fun, I tested the filter, & it worked just fine. Any thoughts?
