I was born here: Bulawayo in what was then Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Look how wide the streets are: you can turn a truck around easily.  :teddyr:

And I grew up here: Gweru, the former Gwelo.

So I have two hometowns: Oy.  :buggedout:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

LORAIN, OHIO- Downtown, c. 1958; I wish it still looked like that.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

yeah no.

El Misfit wins any contests for coolest hometown.

Louisville, KY. Looks like a city, feels like a small town.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Columbus, Ohio. Yeah...most places look better in a good night pic...

My city, Melbourne Australia, has been voted by a few organisations as 'The Most Liveable City In The World' so its pretty awesome here. In terms of my area [its a big city] I live in a pretty nice neighborhood which has a ton of street art around.

The below is all walking distance from my house.

[That last one is just about right across from my house.]

A couple fellow Ohio natives on the boards.

Born in Cleveland and still reside there.

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Hometown?  Hmmm... I've lived in so many towns in NJ that I don't feel I have one, but I was born in East Orange  :tongueout:

I live now in a town I don't like much, but we are close to the beach and I enjoy walking on the boardwalk in Asbury Park.

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

The chocolate festival near Asbury Park was fun. Silver Ball Museum was fun too!

Can't post a pic, but there's this:

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

I mean...it's Philly.

There's so much history here.  The Bell.  The nation's first capital.  First hospital, zoo, library, and stock exchange.

Cheesesteaks.  ROCKY.

And one of my favourite films - Shooter with Mark Wahlberg - was partly filmed there.

Wahlberg's filmed several films in the area.

His family is opening a restaurant here.
