We finished tracking the drums and bass for my EP (thought it was going to be a demo until our friend/producer told us it's going to be an EP due to the fact that we're doing this more professionally). Guitars have been tracked for one song so far. One down, two to go. After that come the vocals, keyboards and then the mixing! If we play our cards right, we should have this finished by mid-December.

With Blindspot, Limitless and Flash and such, this has been a real good year for my network broadcast television.

Supergirl the tv series has been really good, I'm just waiting for that moment when I can say its great.   
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

So I am giving a quiz to my World History Class today and THIS happens:

ME:  "Question nine:  Who sacked and burned the city of Constantinople in 1453?"

CLASS:  (Blank looks)
ME:  "You should be able to remember their name because we're so close to Thanksgiving!"
SOPHOMORE GIRL:  (incredulously)  "It was the PILGRIMS???"


(Short pause to restore order)


SOPHOMORE GUY:  "NO! It was the cranberries!"


(Longer pause to restore order)
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

     The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Her: I'm thinking of writing a memoir about my past relationships.

Him: Interesting. How would it begin?

Her: "The first time I fell in love I went head over heels. The second time it was just the opposite."

Him: Hmm...

Her: Too much?

Him: Maybe a bit. Besides, it wasn't like that. I was there.

Her: Actually, you weren't.

Him: Damn. So where do I come in?

Her: "Chapter Nine---The Semi-Connected Pretty Boy With The Dad Who Gets Us Into Any Event In The City."

Him: Any chance you'll take up needlepoint instead?
