In 48 hours I will be boarding a plane bound for JFK airport in New York.  And another 8 hours after that, an El Al flight to Tel Aviv.

I've never known this one intern here named Becca not to say she was cold. Zero outside, she's cold. Fifty outside, she's cold. 73 in here, she's cold. 68 in here, she's cold. The sun is shining, she's cold. Cloudy, she's cold. Sweater on, she's cold. Drinking hot coffee, she's cold. The girl has a problem.

1. She wants the attention.
2. She needs to go to a doctor and have her thyroid checked.
3. If she is insanely thin, give her a bunch of empty carbs and steaming hot soup.
4. Follow Flangepart's suggestion and set her on fire. "Are you cold NOW, lady?"

Somebody posted on facebook something to the effect of:

I'm nice not because I want to go to Heaven or avodi Hell, but rather because being a %^$#^$ is not fun. 

I wanted to replay with:  "Being a ^%&%& is no fun?  Then your doing it wrong."

It shocks most Americans to learn they live in a republic, not a democracy, even though many of them say the Pledge of Allegiance every day of their lives, which contains the words, "...and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands." Sadly this reveals the truth that most people say the words of the Pledge by rote, not because they comprehend them and truly commit to them.
