the BURNING (1981)

Decent 80s slasher but I really don't remember much about it other than Jason Alexander talking about porn mags and yes, the absolutely classic finger chopping. I don't think it really belongs in the bad movie section though.

Well-I would put it in the "stupid but cool" movie section-but theire aint one-It's not nearly as good as the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE or a classic like FRANKENSTEIN-but its a fine timewaster-and it's a lot of fun.

I think you might be suffering from temporary genre blindness; you seem to forget that such a kid usually kills his parents as well.

Not a bad movie better than half the pre Friday the 13th movies that were churned out in early 80s.

The Burning and The Howling are definitely on my 80's slasher to-watch list.
