There is a movie I saw  few years back and I can't remember the title but it has a twist on the end of it.  I remember the main character was part of a bomb squad or police department?  I remember he had a friend in the police department that ends up getting killed at the end when the police station gets blown up.  I've seen alot of movies so the details are a little fuzzy.  The main character get's blamed for the bombing even though he didn't do it.  It's not the movie Blown Away, I had already bought that movie in hopes that it could be the right oned.  I was pretty disappointed it wasn't it.  I think Chris Christopherson was in it but I'm not sure.  I've search on the internet a number of times and have come up with nothing.

no, that's not it.  I think this movie came out about three years ago, maybe four.

Could it possibly be "Arlington Road" (1999) with Jeff Bridges?  In that movie, Bridges is set up by others to appear as though he is a terrorist, taking revenge against the FBI over the death of his wife (an FBI agent killed in the line of duty).  He had a friend who was an agent who was killed when he blew up the FBI headquarters.

I think that might be it.  Everything I looked up seems to sound like it.  I tried a movie clip but some reason it wouldn't play.  Thank you so much for your help.  It kind of reminded me of a O'Henry type plot, that twist on the end.

I agree. This sounds like ARLINGTON ROAD. Except the main character was a college professor and his friend was in the FBI.

I think I was more than likely mixing it up with a different movie I saw or maybe a couple.  I haven't seen Arlington Road since shortly after it came out on video.  It's been a few years.  I'm not good at remembering titles of movies usually.

Speed? I don't think it was the end of the movie but at some point his partner is in a house that explodes because the bomber set them up. Could be arlington road even tho it's not a polic station but takes place in the garage parking lot. That had a twist ending, tho I don't know how you could confuse the two lead actors for kris kristopherson? lol

Ash

I thought of Speed at first also but dismissed it.

It has to be Arlington Rd.

Might have watch Stargate around the same time and mesh them together somehow in my brain.  Arlington Road is it though.
