My opinion is:

* SOMETHING WEIRD (although, I wish they would release more titles in widescreen format)

Honorable mentions (in no particular order):

* REDEMPTION
* ALPHA
* ANCHOR BAY
* BLUE UNDERGROUND

What are your favorites?

Something Weird all the way. Often, to pass an afternoon, my friends and I will get a Something Weird DVD and spend the day going through all the stuff. Hilariously weird stuff!

Elite does a good job, too, what with the new Joe Bob Briggs series, the Drive-In Discs, and the truly kickass editions of Night of the Living Dead and Re-Animator.

I'll agree with those and add Media Blasters (especially Shriek Show), also MGM for the Midnite Movies series

DIAMOND ENTERTAINMENT has supplied me with many many great quality DVD's for about $6 each.

CATCOM isn't to bad. There HORROR EXPRESS/BLOOD TIDE double feature is great.

SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO is the king of B-Movies.

ALPHA VIDEO has been hit and miss, but I've been happy with them for the most part. Their prices are good also.

BRENTWOOD is the worst, but I found a couple good ones in their bunch.

All of these companies provide low prices except SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO who probably deserves every penny for making those films available.

Lion's Gate seems to like distributing B films.

Are they just a production studio or do they also put out DVD's?

I was never sure on that.

StatCat-I have to disagree about Media Blasters.  Their 'Tokyo Shock' collection of DVDs are shoddy.  Horrible transfer.  Looks like they copied straight from a rusted VCR.

Ash-Lions Gate does it all.  They are a great production company.  Thank God, cause without them we wouldn't have some of the actual good horror that we do today.  American Psycho, Cabin Fever, etc.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT also has some good films out there. The quality has been good with them.

BLUE UNDERGROUND did a great job with the Speghetti Westerns collection. Django, Run Man Run, Django Kill, Manajana. Great extras on the DVD's

ANCHOR BAY of coarse has some  good ones. My Tombs of the Blind Dead and Return of the Blind Dead come from them. My only dissappointment with Tombs of the Blind Dead is that it was subtitled while they dubbed Return of the Blind Dead.

Maybe but I was talking about Shriek Show really which is under their label and are nothing like what you described.  I don't even think I own any of their Tokyo Shock dvds besides Gappa which was a fine release.
