Indy 4, nothing to do with really bad movies, but I'm trying to find out...

Does anyone know if this movie is actually going to happen?  There's nothing on the official site about it, although I've seen some other sites rave about how Spielberg and Lucas have both quoted that it's on for 2005.  Harrison Ford and Sean Connery will always kick ass, but I think they should jump on this before they both get too old to run from rolling boulders, mine floods, and Nazi planes.

Personally, I'd love to see another one even though it's been almost 15 years since Crusaders.  It's never too late.  The only way this could possibly be a bad movie is if all of this crap about the production starting in summer of 2004 is a nothing but a big rumor and the movie never actually gets made.

And yeah, Steve Irwin is a f**king idiot.

I don't think they are going to start  filiming until 2005 because Lucas is tied up with the Episode 3 and Speilberg has been working on other things. From what I read the film will take place in the 50's because of  the actors aren't getting any younger.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Need I remind you how much Star Wars stunk after its revival after 15 years?  Why wouldn't Indiana Jones suck just as well?

The limited information that I have (Pulled of the net, movie insiders at work, and educated guesses) is that it will probably involve either Atlantis or maybe some sort of Imperial Treasure in China.

Harrison Ford says it will be set post WWII, so the bad guys will probably be Communists (as they were in the PC Game, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine).

Despite people's initial horror, I found that Communists actually worked just as well as Nazis (and have the benefit of being more recognisable to younger viewers...)

Still, I guess only time will reveal with Indy 4 has for us...
