So Thor is a woman? Ted Kord is no longer Blue Beetle? Captain America's a traitor?  The X-Men are basically a joke? Kind of glad I no longer read comics nowadays.

I've been told technically it's just a woman who picked up Thor's hammer and Thor decided, "Hey, she's doing an okay job, guess I'll let her keep it."

Just volunteered to work on a microbudget film shooting locally in February. Should be a good experience but we'll see if I come to regret it.

Finally got a lead on a drafting position, and two things are blocking me from (hopefully) snagging it: a) the confirmation email link hasn't shown up yet and 2) the online calendar link the guy sent me sends me to a calendar meeting software page..with no links on downloading the said software. What do?

In 2017 I want my children to start doing volunteer work. I want them to know that just because you can't do everything you can still do something. I would like to instill in them the truth that aiding other people contains a nobility that self-oriented undertakings can never have.
