How many pieces of media have been ruined by censorship?
It's been a plague on all forms of entertainment for a long time and it always makes me angry.

Reminded of a joke some comedian (can't remember who) once told.

"Anyone see Scarface?  Ya, great movie.  I remember when I saw it in theaters it was like two and half hours but when they had it on network tv and they cut all the f**ks out it was only like thirty minutes."

Unnecessary censorship can be a good thing, it can make a regular photo/gif into something completely else.
