On one occasion which I always recall with a laugh, we took in three movies in one evening (Excalibur, the 1981 re-release of Star Wars and oops I forget what the third one was but it had to be similar): planned it out so we could make it if we ran, and run we did.   :teddyr:

Talking about running, I ran to our local cinema in 1976 to see this:

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

My mom once told me they went to see some movie at a drive in and took me along.  I think maybe the Godfather.  This was when I was under a year old.  She said I slept through most of the movie.

God of making the characteristic which becomes dirty sends the hurricane.

I remember I used to go to the drive-in quite a bit when i was younger, but the only two movies I can remember seeing there are Ghostbusters II and Batman.

The ONLY movie I saw in an actual theater before I was in my mid teens was Hook.  The only reason we went to that was because me and some friends had an outing planned (I forget what we were going to do) and we got a ride all the way into the city only to find out whatever it was was closed.  So, were were trying to find something else to do and saw the theater.

Drive-ins weren't around when I was a kid. My parents took me and my brother to the movie theater a lot back in the day.
