Here's something I was pondering about 

Would anybody here be interested in doing a weekly bad movie viewing for the forum? 

I'm thinking somebody (naturally we'd take turns) would pick out a movie, post it on Sunday and we'd all have until next week to watch and give our thoughts and opinions on it.  It's be more of a community thing. 

I figured we'd probably pick something on youtube to make it more accessible for everyone.


Good idea?  bad idea?  Is a week not long enough?  Give me some thoughts people.

Speaking of that, how do we want to chose movies?  Since it was my idea, I thought I'd choose first, and then at the end of the week randomly pick somebody to choose the next one. 

Should there be a certain way we pick the next person to choose movies or should that be left up to the person picking this weeks movie who his or her successor is?

I'm not sure how you can do that other than having the person who chose the week's movie to pick their favorite review/commentary from those posted. Hint: you can't pick your own.

Unless someone creates a random forum member name selector.

OOh!  I'd do it!  I think we did something like this a few years ago, but a little less organized, choosing movies that were available on netflix streaming.  I only recall watching some kind of girl rock band vigilante boobs in space sort of movie.  It was actually fun, but I forget the name.

I was a part of something similar in another forum. It lasted a while....but after eventually it was just me and someone else picking movies for the group to watch and contributing to discussion.
