It did it again, it stole thirteen hours of my life with little payback. I should have learned, but, no, I blundered in again, waiting patiently as this silly soap opera masquerading as quality limped along through another languid pointless "season." And would someone PLEASE give Kevin Spacey some prune juice?

Seriously, save yourself some time and watch a better show. At least the British original of a generation ago was actually good, and still managed to wrap its tales up in three brief series.

I'd give this year's edition a D+.

Loved the first season. Second was a disappointment, but had some moments. Third was actually kind of bad, and I gave up watching it. It's rare for me not to finish a series if I've watched one complete season. ("The Simpsons" is the only other series I can think of where I did that).
