This terrible anthology film has recently been played to death on Space (Canada's once great sci-fi channel, which has now gone completely down the toilet). Has anyone else here seen it? It's not even good-bad; it's just plain unwatchable. I'm talking Andy Milligan bad here.

Is that the one with Gunnar Hanson? It was like a bad Creepshow rip-off? One of the stories involved a grocery boy and a disfigured rich guy? Is this the one your talking about?

No, this is a Canadian film which stars Audrey Landers, and absolutely no one else you've ever heard of. Landers is in the framing story, about a reporter who stumbles upon this weird thing in a jar, and when she stares into, she "sees" the movies stories. The stories are about: a junkie tormented by a poodle (really), a nerdy pizza delivery boy (who looks about forty) who makes a delivery for some female vampires, a feamle junkie who O.D.s, and gets an autopsy while still alive, and an EC comics-style revenge storyline about corpses who get mad when their coffins are moved to a golf course. There's a real stupid ending which will make you smash in the TV set if you haven't already.

Yes, I have seen the Audrey Landers Freakshow.  Apparently it was originally released in 1989.  I didn't think it was as bad as you make out.  It wasn't a great film but nowhere near the bottom of the barrel z grade of Andy Milligan.  I haven't seen the other Freakshow which dates from 1995.
