Woodstock has a personal connection to me-I lived in Marlboro NY in 69-and Ma went. I watched Chiller Theater-TWO ON A GUILLOTINE - to be exact-that day.So this hippie s**t was all around me as a kid. I thought it was cool. I grew my hair. I did drugs in the 70's. So! Folks wonder why I'm this way. At this time I also watched my Dad beat the f**k out of my Ma. I ended up in a Catholic orpahange.

Here's a true story-after Ma and Dad dropped us off at the orpahange-our caretaker-some afro head hippie Jesus freak-took us little kids to the movie theater to see the Beatles YELLOW SUBMARINE movie. On the way back he had the bright idea to take a shortcut along the railroad tracks. And we had to go throw the woods. And there was a forest fire. So we ended up running like idiots helter skelter threw the woods.

It sounds hellish but at the minute Im finding no greater joy than listening to The Thompson Twins and Call center hold music on a loop...like...I work at a company Where I get to listen to music during my shift...I can listen to 8 hours of the stuff a day unphased...its so calming...
