Ugh.  I hate when that happens.

I saw THOMPSON TWINS around '84 or '85 at the Garden State Arts Center... probably even then was called PNC Arts Center.
They performed "Hold Me Now" which was a big hit right then.  And it went on and on and on... after that, I lost interest.

Upstairs At Eric's was the album to own by YAZ or YAZOO but I never had the vinyl...

PASCAL ROGE is the only other pianist that can play MAURICE RAVEL piano works properly, and yet with his own interpretation.   (VLADO PERLEMUTER is first.)

I'm no pianist so I can't comment properly, but I enjoy the interpretations in my collection from Anton Batagov, Alexandre Tharaud, and especially Samson Francois.

I will definitely check them out.  It's only when I hear RAVEL that I even bother to tune in and take note of the pianist.  PASCAL ROGE is only the second pianist I've heard that I liked playing RAVELVLADO PERLEMUTER (who studied with RAVEL) was my true introduction to RAVEL, so, I am under the influence.
