I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

18. THE AMERICAN ASTRONAUT (2001)

Some very strange numbers in this absurdist space musical, performed by the director's band.

19. Halloween 3: Season of the Witch.

Genuinely one of the most underrated movie soundtracks I think i've ever heard. Its just so profoundly bleak sounding and foreboding. and then to play off that darkness the Silver shamrock jingle is so upbeat and throwaway; yet at the same time so utterly memorable. I know people who hate this movie; Hell even people who've never seen this movie who still know "That song that goes "Happy happy halloween halloween halloween happy happy halloween silver shamrock!" Its one of the few movie scores I genuinely love to have on Vinyl. it's totally unique

20. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (1946)

Per the director the music was written separately and not synchronized to the action they way it usually would be. Yet it works.

21. The soundtrack of this puerile piece of anti-South African garbage is the only thing making the film worth watching.

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Surely a must? a broadchurch album that captures the grand sweeping and majestic sound of country western america and the downbeat macro isolationism of the hustle and bustle of inner city living. wonderful compositions and great arrangements

A great score by Bernard Herrmann. And the only movie to make lizard dinosaurs dimetrodons look good.
