Whether you celebrate it as I do, to commemorate the birth of God's son,  or simply as a good time of cheer with friends and family, whoever you are, all of you are a part of this crazy eclectic internet family that I have learned to love very much, and I wish ALL of you the happiest and merriest of Christmases!
May you eat your fill, party your socks off, spend time with loved ones, or simply relax and enjoy a quiet winter day.   God bless you all, whether you believe in Him or not!

Merry Christmas, one and all!

I know amid the tinsel and presents it's easy to lose sight of the real meaning of the occasion, but please, let's each take a second to reflect that on what Christmas is truly about: showing we have the strength to make it through the day without punching our mothers-in-law!
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

I had a Merry Christmas. I made a crockpot roast with carrots and onions, mashed taters (no box-I peeled them!) home made gravy, collard greens and biscuits. And me and Tiana hung out with my son Jed and his wife. And I smoked some good weed and drinking some cheap whiskey called ' Canadian Hunter" which has a picture of a hunter with dogs. Except the hunter looks like that guy from  Kung Fu movie about the Ninja Terminator.

both of us would have given up at least one arm to have our mother in laws with us. my husband never got to meet my mother,just heard the stories of how awesome she was..and she was.
   his mother was MY mother too, for longer than my own mother was..same for his dad.
we celebrate the joy we had with them. the angry stuff, that's never face to face, thanks be. they  don't visit here.
