I didn't know ANDREW GOLD had died in 2011.  He was wonderful.

I always listen to this album in January.  It is a great album, and though I love him, have several of his albums, I am not a fan.  I think his oeuvre is mixed.  This one is the best.

I didn't know ANDREW GOLD had died in 2011.  He was wonderful.  

Yeh I remember hearing he died in 2011 and not thinking it was that big of a deal (There wasnt really much fanfare about it in the press in the UK so I just assumed he was maybe a 1 hit wonder)...it was only after he died that I basically discovered just how involved he was in a majority of my music collection xD even to this day I'll be listening to a song, like it, go to look who did it and find it was either Andrew Gold or a band that was in some way connected to him...a proper tragedy he's gone :/

Anyway! I have a properly hectic day tomorrow so Im winding down and psyching myself up for it with some Divine Comedy:
