Sad news: the South African pioneering jazz musician passed away today at the age of 78.  :bluesad:

I met him a year ago, walked over to him and stuck out my hand in greeting.
He looked at me and said "I don't shake hands."
I went "Oops." :buggedout:
He then stood up and gave me a hug.  :teddyr: :thumbup:

RIP, Bra [Brother] Hugh.  :bluesad:

I just realized that I met him in January 2017: I will never forget him looking up at me and saying that he didn't shake anyone's hands and then he grabbed me in a bear hug. I could only squeak "OK" while he was holding me.  :smile:

His music is timeless.
