When are ya gonna get an avatar?

Actually- Quite a few members don't use avatars. Claws, Zombie, Pacman-

I always wondered why some folks prefer not to have one.

Looks like Godzilla. Cool.
I haven't changed mine for 10 years (meaning never). RCMerchant changes his often but it's almost always a pic of BELA LUGOSI. Cool.

The only times I changed it from Bela was short periods of time when iconic figures died. I would do it for about a week.

honestly? way back when i started posting on the ebay chatboards, avis didn't exist there. we got creative with our IDs and our siggies instead. and i was hopelessly illiterate with my mac then...
other people helped,and i use/used pictures that are really me, on the boards where i'm not a pink/blue/green/gray person, because they don't know me like y'all do here.
or i use pics of the food i've created in the past... biggest problem now is PB destroying any ability to use my photos cached there, and i am totally lost on getting any of them from shutterfly.
i'm ... an idiot savant with computers, i can fix most anything, but i have no idea how to put an avi here, lol! can you help me,explain it in zombie-ese, maybe?
